Now, the Government of Pakistan has stopped – yes, stopped – distributing rations and yet the situation is worsening. COVID-19 numbers are about to cross as of today 150,000 and businesses are shutting down, laying off workers, certainly not retaining daily wage workers and there is talk of more lockdowns. Already, Punjab has announced a two-week lockdown and Sindh has an area specific 2 week lockdown. Dire circumstances, one that is resulting in more hungry families than even before. Please help!
We are fundraising to distribute our next 1000 rations. Nestle Pakistan has just donated enough milk, juice and nutrient packs for the 1000 families, which we will add to the ration boxes your funds will go towards. Here is a picture of Nestle Pakistan official representative Rahat distributing in this jumbo truck their contribution to moi, DGF – LADIESFUND President Tara Uzra Dawood. We take their entrustment of their donation with us very seriously, as we do each and every donation. This is truly a team effort that is growing every day, as the need increases minute by minute. Thank you!
Zakat and sadaqah donations are being carefully honoured.
Global donations (UK Gift Aid and US tax credit): currently being 100% matched by GG for first time donors.
